Last Supper No. 3 wins Cinemalaya Best Film

Last Supper No. 3 was named Best Film at tonight’s awarding ceremonies for Cinemalaya Cinco held at the Cultural Center of the Philippines, reports pep.ph.

The humorous full-length feature, based on a true story about a production designer who loses a Last Supper prop and gets embroiled in a two-year legal fiasco, was written and directed by Veronica Velasco and features cameo appearances by Maricel Soriano and Ricky Davao.

Tying for the Special Jury award were Colorum and Ang Panggagahasa Kay Fe . Lou Veloso won Best Actor for Colorum, while Ina Feleo, daughter of actor Johnny Delgado and actress-director Laurice Guillen, won Best Actress for Sanglaan. Tessie Tomas won Best Supporting Actress for Sanglaan and Arnold Reyes won Best Supporting Actor for Astig. Bonsai, featuring Angel Aquino and directed by Borgy Torre won Best Short Film.

hooray for ina feleo, makes me want to watch sanglaan all the more. hooray for bonsai too! that final scene was so good.
