Sir,
May you rest in peace, this is such a big loss for everyone because you are such a great person who is humble enough not to flaunt wisdom but is kind enough to share.

Thank you! Will continue to pray for justice!
You will forever be my crush

if i trust my reliable hunch right, robbery is just a decoy. someone must have taken it personally against Alexis. For the past weeks, he was pretty much vocal in the national artist brouhaha. youll never know what these people are capable of… especially those shades este, that shadey character involved. again, just a hunch.

Paalam Alexis. Davao filmmakers will always remember you.

May justice be served in this lifetime!

gosh, i met him way back 2006 when me and my bf watched Paul Soriano’s first-ever short film. He was a nice and clever guy. May justice prevail.

alexis and I go way back in college. Even before he became a film critic. We used to spend hours by quick pic store (in front of UAP) listening and talking about hiphop all day. I will always remember Eggy..

Kawalan sa Pilipinas na mawalan na naman ng matalinong mamamayan na maaari sanang magtaguyod ng nasyonalismo sa mga larangang kailngan nito, tulad na nga lamang sa cinema.

Concolences sir. I would have very much wanted to meet you. A great loss indeed.

To L Word:

That was also the first thing that came in my mind when I read the PDI headline this morning. A far-out proposition, yes, but it could happen. Think about how crooked CJC’s mind is.

(And I hate to think how this crime can very much be made into another “vital” Filipino movie directed by CJC, in line with his previous “masterpieces”.)

Condolence po uli kay sir Alexis, and his girlfriend. I’m praying for their souls.

He’s such a great man and a great professor. One very inspiring film enthusiast indeed. RIP Sir Tioseco… You will be missed… I wanna kick that Criselda bitch’s ass! Hope you experience what you made these innocent people experience…

Im so sad and greatly affected by this whole thing. Truly shocking….

Je

Sayang… he was my classmate in college. Mabait talaga siya ang very friendly.

Rest in peace Alexis.

Alexis a.k.a Moroune. That’s my nick for him during our high school days. The last time we talked you promised me that someday we’ll see each other soon. I didn’t expect I will be seeing you in your wake bed. Rest in peace my friend, my brother

I assisted Alexis Tioseco a few years back when he purchased a ticket to Singapore. I said he looked like my half-Belgian friend. I remember he said “Well actually I’m Filipino/Chilean”. He said his mother is from Chile. I have never met anyone from Chile before or someone with Chilean blood that’s why I never forgot that. Used to see him in film festivals and one time I said to a friend that I remember him because he’s the half-Chilean guy. Turns out he’s a film critic. I’ve always wanted to approach him, say hi and ask if he remembers me. Yesterday I learned he and his girlfriend were murdered. I don’t really know what to say on situations like these.

Alexis and Nika, may they rest in peace.
