It’s that time of the year again and the wine and food festival you fondly know as TOAST has now been renamed THE FESTIVAL. This year 20 international wine makers and representatives will be in town to sample over a hundred wines. We are also presenting a wider array of gourmet items. With the launch of Gourmet Depot this year we are presenting cheeses, dips, antipasto, Australian seafood and meats together with Spanish delicacies as well as a wide array of pasta sauces and a myriad of other deli items.
Manila’s top hotels and restaurants will also be serving samplings of their cuisine. If you missed the early bird discounted rate of P700, you can still avail of discounted tickets for P850 at any Wine Depot store this will be available only until September 30.
The regular price for tickets to The Festival is P1000, still a great bargain with the number of wines and gourmet items being offered on this day. Make sure you don’t miss this year’s wine and food festival at the NBC Tent on Saturday the 10th of October, from 2pm to 8pm.
We are also offering two very exciting Master Classes on the day of The Festival:
D’Arenberg Winery will feature a tasting of Chester Osborne’s award wining wines from the D’Arenberg museum collection. Experience how a father and son team literally revolutionized the art of winemaking with their famous D’Arenberg Wines. The Loosen Estate in Germany was awarded by Wine and Spirits Magazine as winery of the year in 2009. While Dr. Ernst Loosen was named as Winemaker of the Year for 2005 by Decanter Magazine. Marlies Grumbach of the Loosen Estate will unfold the mystery behind the German Riesling as you sample one of Germany’s most awarded and highly rated wines.
