“Pound-for-pound King” Manny Pacquiao is on the cover of Time Magazine’s Asian edition, available in newsstands starting this weekend, reports GMANews.tv.

Time Magazine devotes five pages to the boxer, who has won championships in six different weight divisions, including beating the equally competent and popular boxer Oscar de la Hoya during the eighth round for the welterweight crown in December 2008. This week, Pacquiao also made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and on ESPN’s Sports Center.
The boxer, now 30 years old, was once a street hawker, construction worker and stevedore in General Santos City until he became one of pro boxing’s most popular fighters. Pacquiao is also one of the Philippines’ most sought-after product endorsers, with endorsement contracts for health supplements, pain killers, a videoke mic and a brand of vitamin-enriched water, among others.
Pacquiao is set to challenge Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto on November 14 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Aling Dionisia at COSMO = FUN!
You can say anything you wanna say about her; however, she is richer than any past cover girls @ TATLER.
Therefore, she deserves to be the cover of TATLER while she laughs all the way to the bank.
is this cover exclusively for Philippines only? coz I have a copy of the Time mag Nov 09 asian edition here in Malaysia but the cover is same as the US edition, Hillary on the cover… in the Time mag website, the Asian edition cover features Mrs Clinton as well.
