Boxing champ Manny Pacquiao, fresh from his victory over Miguel Cotto, announced in Las Vegas November 17 that he is running in the 2010 elections for a congressional seat to represent Sarangani, reported Dyan Castillejo for ABS-CBN's TV Patrol World.
Though it had been previously reported that Pacquiao was planning to run for Congress, it was unconfirmed whether he would run to represent South Cotabato, the position he lost when he ran in 2007.
