Since its inception in 2000,the Philippine edition of For Him Magazine, better known as FHM, has not only established itself as the country's Number One quintessential men's mag but has run over several wannabes in its path. With glossy pages of witty content and even glossier, generous skin-tastic spreads, FHM has successfully thrust itself into the scene as staple, er, food for thought for the modern Filipino guy.

To help celebrate FHM's 10th year, SPOT.ph resident blogger and urban wordsmith Lourd de Veyra paid tribute to the magazine's revolutionary appeal, which inevitably changed the Filipino's perspective on sex by giving us healthy doses of celebrity skin. "The success of FHM is reflective of a shift in Pinoy cultural values... Every time you open an issue of FHM, you are drawn into a timeless world of bikinis, cleavage, cars, beer, gadgets, among others. And it never grows old. It is a world that seems to be eternally 21 years of age... Sadly, FHM still doesn't offer gynecological close-ups. But it offers the next best thing, or come to think of it, maybe something infinitely better: Celebrity skin."

But FHM is also a wellspring of useless information. This is according to a very eloquent Quark Henares, who found Katya Santos' confession about her ample breasts quite "shocking." Self-proclaimed "jumping jologs" Ramon Bautista fondly shared his experiences with FHM, listing down his favorite cover girls and saying that he hopes to see Taylor Swift among them someday… Well, as they say, "Libre mangarap. [Dreaming's free.]" But who really knows what FHM has up its sleeve?
