ABS-CBNNews.com reports that on Tuesday afternoon (January 24), actress Iza Calzado signed a three-year-contract with ABS-CBN. Calzado was identified as a GMA-7 talent for almost a decade. The report revealed that ABS-CBN executives, including the network’s president Charo Santos-Concio, were present during the signing.

Curtis’ "disappearing act" created a buzz, as she had already been scheduled to perform that night. She had even tweeted: "Madlang Thomasians!!! I’m heeeerrre! Will be performing for you guys LIVE at the USTV Kickoff party!!" Shortly after she left, Curtis also tweeted the reason for her sudden departure.
