Councilor proposes more taxes for QC residents to fund informal settlers’ housing
ABS-CBNNews.com reports that District 4 Councilor Edcel Greco Lag has proposed an ordinance that would implement a socialized housing tax on Quezon City residents. The money from the added tax will then be used to fund a housing program for more than 2,000 informal settlers in the city.
