ABS-CBNNews reports that an official of the Moro Islamic Liberation (MILF) believes veteran media personality Ramon “Mon” Tulfo “got a dose of his own medicine” when he was allegedly beaten up by celebrity couple Raymart Santiago and Claudine Barretto and some of their companions at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 over the weekend. The report said Khaled Musa, deputy chairman of the MILF Committee on Information, aired his sentiment on the issue in a statement posted on the MILF’s website Luwaran.com. The statement described Tulfo as “an incorrigible critic of Moros in Mindanao.”

Inquirer.net reports that Philippine Daily Inquirer columnist and radio broadcaster Ramon “Mon” Tulfo on Monday, May 7, filed grave coercion and physical injury charges against Raymart Santiago and Claudine Barretto a day after the celebrity couple and some companions allegedly ganged up on him at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. The report said Tulfo “brought” his black eye to the Prosecutor’s Office as evidence.
