Wicked Manila extends theatrical run yet again
And we couldn't be happier!
(SPOT.ph) When Lunchbox Theatrical Productions announced in January that Wicked's run in Manila was extended for another week, many were delighted. The best seats were immediately bought online for the opening night on February 2 and gala night on February 8.
Now, Ozians would be happy to know that Globe Live extends Wicked's stay in the Philippines yet again! Instead of closing the season on March 8, the musical phenomenon continues to play at The Theatre at Solaire in Parañaque City until March 19. Performance times are at 8 p.m. from Tuesday to Friday and 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. on weekends.

“At Globe, we have always been on the lookout for new experiences we can give our customers as part of enriching their digital life. Through this partnership with the award-winning Broadway and West End musical, Wicked, we know this will be a great beginning to Globe LIVE’s line up of world class productions for 2017,” said Joe Caliro, Globe Stores and Retail Transformation Head and Globe Live Executive Director.
Wicked, one of the longest running musicals in Broadway, follows the unlikely but profound friendship between two sorcery students—popular girl Glinda (Carly Anderson) and green-skinned girl Elphaba (Jacqueline Hughes). It's a show with a lot of green, flying monkeys, and even a talking goat. Convinced yet?
Wicked runs until March 19 at The Theatre at Solaire, Solaire Resort and Casino, Aseana Avenue, Parañaque City. Tickets, priced from P1,750 to P7,000, are available through Ticketworld.
