The 11th Cinemanila International Film Festival, a celebration of local and international films, will be held this month at the Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. Starting October 15, the festival will showcase over 80 films which include local stand-outs and fresh favorites from prestigious festivals like Cannes, Berlin, Rotterdam, Sundance and Pusan. Award-winning scriptwriter, Armando "Bing" Lao, takes the role of movie director in Biyaheng Lupa, a film about passengers aboard a bus, each with a story to share. The film chronicles the inner lives of people as they face love, life and death, with veteran actors Jaclyn Jose, Julio Diaz, Eugene Domingo and Coco Martin.
