The food blogs that I read are meant to be fun and educational. I spend so much time poring over books and the web for the work that I do, and in between that I’m shuttling between meetings, the market, and cooking in the kitchen. If I’m going to sit down and read, it'd better be entertaining. No Big Bad Blogger stuff here (I wonder what happened to that issue?).
I’ve walked away from blogs that read so negatively. Some people dig that. As for me, well, life is hard enough as it is, don’t you think? As a wise man named Monty Python once wrote: “Always look on the bright side of life.”
Here, then, is a little list of food blogs that I like to visit. Not the definitive list as there are still a ton of excellent ones, but this is the kind of blog writing that I myself aspire for.
