Happy Women’s Month! To celebrate, here’s a list of ten amazing women whose valuable contributions to the Philippine film industry keep it alive.

Check out Women In Film (www.wif.org). They have a Film Finishing Fund which “provides cash and in-kind production services to deserving filmmakers needing help to complete their film projects”.

    @Alem:rnAgreed with you on Ditsi Carolino. A lot of her documentary work is very powerful. I saw "Minsan Lang Sila Mga Bata" and it was haunting.

    One great female filmmaker that's missing in the list is Ditsi Carolino. She's very low key but has made a number of award-winning docus like Minsan Lang Sila Mga Bata and Lupang Hinarang.
