Who else dared to resist during the launch of Globe Tattoo's latest collection? Click for more.
(SPOT.ph) Globe Tattoo launched a new campaign to resist uniformity, mediocrity, and limitations in promotion of their latest Tattoo broadband products, promising users more bandwith and wider coverage. Held on January 19 at the Ayala Museum in Makati, various pieces of artwork were featured to represent Globe's revolutionary cause.
Renowned fashion designer Mich Dulce interpreted "Resisting Uniformity" with an installation that showed off her latest designs. Meanwhile, the group behind Team Manila "resisted mediocrity" with multimedia artwork using a mix of pop culture references. "Resisting Limitations" came in the form of a Leeroy New original sculpture, while percussionist Paul Zialcita conveyed resistance through beats made by unconventional instruments.
Hosted by Sarah Meier-Albano, the event also unveiled the newest faces of Tattoo: the Filipino "Flash" Nonito Donaire, Chicosci lead vocalist Miggy Chavez, and model-host Georgina Wilson, who, incidentally, started a viral "#resist" trend on Twitter last December. Other Tattoo ambassadors like Ford Supermodel Danica Magpantay, art diva Sarah Gaugler, race-car champ Marlon Stockinger, and blogger Saab Magalona were also at the party. Other personalities spotted at the Ayala Museum include Divine Lee, Rovilson Fernandez, Rhett Eala, JR Isaac, RJ Ledesma, Borgy Manotoc, Frank Magalona, and Raymond Gutierrez.
