Jinkee Pacquiao says Pacman didn't buy her an island: "We're renting it from the government, P100,000 a year. We can rent it for 25 years, it depends"

Published: Jan 30, 2012 - 5:18am

At the tail end of her interview with The Philippine Star columnist Ricky Lo, which was published in the newspaper's Sunday edition (January 29), Jinkee Pacquiao adressed rumors that her boxer-turned-lawmaker husband Manny Pacquiao had bought her an island.

A report discussing the highlights of the interview was likewise posted on ABS-CBNNews.com. The interview was mostly about Jinkee's beauty regimen. In it, she had admitted that she has undegone liposuction, but she denied rumors that she's had a face lift. "Nothing in my face...only parts of my body were touched," she said. She explained that she only had a liposuction once, sometime after her daughter Princess was born.

Then, when Lo asked Jinkee if she had indeed been given an island worth P25 million by her husband, she clarified, "Hindi naman (Not reallty). The TV news was exaggerated. That island is part of Sarangani. We stayed there (during) New Year. We're renting it from the government, P100,000 a year. We can rent it for 25 years, it depends."

the so called national hero and lawmaker ,who distinguishes himself by being absent of the congress most of the time will finally have to pay the taxes he ows to the governement.i hope that the governement or his compadres will not find a trick to get away with it.if we all agree that he is a natural talent in boxing,we also agree that it is not the case with his duty as a lawmaker, who has to serve the people.for me the heroes are the women and man of this country struggling for her daily survival.and what is the national hero doing with his money?where are the hospitals, the schools, the orphanages he has build?where are the scholarships he has sponsored, where is his humanitarian foundation?Never heard about it!!!how can he be compared with Mohamed Ali,Georges Foreman who dedicated their life and a huge part of their fortune to help the helpless and to give them a chance in life.Or Dela Hoya who has created numerous schools and who is sponsoring thousands of students, from elementary to high school. If he would have invest a part of his fortune to promote humanitarian pprojects,i would say, give him a discount on his taxes.but as long as he doesnt do it tax him as much as possible.this tax money will then not be invested in cockfighting, gambling, drinking sessions with friends .......God preserve us from the national hero becoming vice president.........

wow sobrang mura naman nun mas mahal pa ang isang 25sqm condo dito sa manila. imagine whole island for a measly sum of 100k annually that's incredulously cheap hehehehheh. mag aagawan na ang mga developer nyan to acquire a peace of Saranggani.

If that's the case, then they're renting it for next to nothing. Dirt cheap, even for a sandbar. Who are they kidding, anyway?
