21 vintage bombs in Binondo warehouse found by security guard

Philstar.com reports that on Tuesday, January 31, security guard Albert Angeles found "at least 21 vintage bombs" as he was cleaning the RBL Fishing Line warehouse, which is located along Jaboneros Street in Binondo, Manila. According to the report the bombs were 115mm Howitzer Projectiles.

 

Angeles called the San Nicolas police community precinct, which, in turn, contacted the Manila Police District (MPD) headquarters. The bombs were then "taken by members of the MPD’s explosives and ordnance division for disposal."

 

The report didn't say if the police found out why the bombs were in the warehouse.

    Aside from the number of the bombs found in that warehouse, the fact that the security guard was also tasked to clean is disturbing. He's a security guard, not a sanitation guard. Good job on the multitasking, body!

    obviously, somebody has been keeping these bombs as "collectibles". Why on earth would there still be a bomb in a warehouse 75 years after the war? Don't tell me the warehouse hasn't been cleaned for 75 years.

    Now that's a smart guard. Didn't get blasted while he's at it. Bet he's not a college graduate, unlike some you know what.
