1. Get a taste of Israel at Paseo Uno
Taste the flavors of Israel for lunch or dinner at the Paseo Uno at the Mandarin Oriental Manila. From August 10 to 16, Chef Zion Barnes, acclaimed as one of Israel's "eight outstanding chefs of the next generation" will prepare Arabic-influenced Israeli cuisine. Among the dishes which will be featured in the buffet include the Hummus Salad, Shawarma, Falafel (hummus loaves in various flavors with spiced potato fries and dips) and Zenia (minced meat of lamb and veal).
According to Chef Zion Barnes, ""In my family, we have lots of salads in every meal. During the festival, I'll make about thirty salads... Everything is fresh."
