PeeWee
What it is: Crunchy barbecue-flavored chips that we'd snack on until the powdered flavoring finally accumulated on our fingertips.
Why we loved it: The best part about eating chips like this? The moment when you tilt your head back and chuck all the small bits left over into your happy mouth. Mmm!

@kicks:
rin-bee is alive and well. not as orange-y and tasty as it was before given the current atmosphere of health-consciousness. in other words, the banning of msg and trans-fat-laden junk.

I agree with Nicole that I really, really missed Horlicks, and in her observation too that the original White rabbit is brownish and toffe-ish. The white and chewy one where you eat the paper is Chinese version.

Other childhood snacks circa 60s and 70s: barquillos
dirty ice cream with all those yummy flavors of cheese, avocado, among others

Branded (yata)...
Tarzan at Barok Chips and Curls, ZebZeb... eto yung mga tig-25 cents... yung plastic nito pwedeng pukpukin ng bato para matransfer yung drawing sa pader. ahaha...
Who would forget the chips na may "free" sa loob.
mga Granny Goose Products "Tortillos", etc.
I won as much as 5pesos doon. saka yung sticky hands... and the jumping thingy.
