Quantum Cafe in Makati
If banishing dairy, pork, beef, chicken, and fish from your daily diet proves to be more difficult than you thought, head to Quantum Cafe for fresh alternatives that are both big on taste yet kind to the environment. Though not strictly a vegetarian spot, vegan fare will take centerstage at Quantum Cafe on July 14 to 16 for a Vegan Food Festival.
"Quantum means 'infinite possibilities' so we wanted to create and name a place that serves infinite possibilities from the menu to the entertainment," says Twinkle Feraren of Quantum Cafe.
"Our menu is constantly evolving but we always serve healthy, nutritious and delicious food using local ingredients like our best-sellers the Malunggay Pasta and the high in fiber Whole Wheat Pizza with Laing. For the Vegan Food Festival, we want to show everyone that eating vegan-style is very easy and accessible.
Sometimes people get scared just hearing the word without knowing that many dishes we already take nowadays are vegan. It's a matter of opening up our senses to new palates, tastes and dishes."
The first day, July 14, will focus on Mediterranean food, Filipino food will be highlighted on July 15, and Continental food will be featured on July 16. Joining Quantum Cafe's Maryjo Reyes-Feraren at the kitchen is Amaya Gonzales of The Art of Living Foundation.
The buffet costs P400 per person.

Nuak May Thai Cuisine in Quezon City
