Mama Sita's, the popular Pinoy brand for sauces and mixes, launched their newest cookbook, Mama Sita's Homestyle Recipes: A Journal of Good Food.

Filled with family recipes compiled by "Mama Sita" Reyes--who comes from the family that started the Filipino restaurant, Aristocrat, and is known for her passion for cooking--the cookbook includes both traditional and contemporary Filipino favorites. Vegetarian dishes, low-fat and oil-free concoctions, as well as amusing anecdotes and useful tips, are also part of the full-color recipe book. According to Peachy Reyes, grandchild of "Mama Sita," all the recipes have been tested by the Reyes family during family get-togethers and their daily meals.

Novice cooks will also like the step-by-step procedure for each recipe, the index of ingredients, plus photos that identify ingredients, spices, noodles, greens and fish varieties.

Mama Sita's Homestyle Recipes is available at all National Bookstore outlets at P180.
