(SPOT.ph) This October, "Flavors of Spain" treats your taste buds to tapas and regional flavors at Manila’s Spanish food hotspots: Terry’s, Gaudi, Tapella by Gaudi, El Cirkulo and Barcino Wine and Resto Bar.
Organized by the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade and Fuego Hotels, the month-long food fiesta entices diners with tapas plates that characterize Spain’s love affair with indulgent, leisurely dining. Gaudi and Tapella features a set menu at P599-including soup, tapas, an appetizer, a main dish and dessert-that highlights the flavors of regions like Catalan, Andalucia and Basque.
Terry’s puts the spotlight on pinchos and tapas with offerings like air-dried Beef on Gazpacho Cream and Callos Escondidos and Crujiente de Jabugo (chorizo dumplings on Mahon cheese). At Barcino, pair your favorite vino with mini plates like Dates with Bacon and Mondatido de Jamon Serrano y Queso Manchego (Montadito and Manchego Cheese).
Over at El Cirkulo, three new dishes-65° Egg, a plate of Jamon Iberico, Olive Oil, Pedro Ximenez Vinegar, Piment d'Espellete, and Smoked Maldon Salt; Mejillones, steamed mussels in white white and U.S. Pork Rib Paella-as well as three new dessert creations by Chef J Gamboa will be available.
