On fashion designer and singer Kate Torralba's playlist:
1. Love is No Big Truth - Kings of Convenience
2. Breaking It Up - Lykke Li
3. 1901 - Phoenix
4. No Line on the Horizon - U2
5. Marry Me - Saint Vincent
6. Bonnie and Clyde - Serge Gainsbourg
7. House of Cards - Radiohead
8. Hand on Your Heart - Jose Gonzalez
9. Twice - Little Dragon
10. Seems I'm Never Tired of Lovin' You - Nina Simone
My No-Fail Picker-Upper Song: "If I Ever Feel Better" by Phoenix. No matter how sour my mood is, this song always makes me snap out of it.
My Praying Song (Yeah, I know, I ACTUALLY pray.): "Ara Batur" by Sigur Ros. It's really beautiful.
My On-the-Plane Emo Song: James Taylor's cover of Joni Mitchell's "River." What gives the track a more interesting angle is the fact that they used to be lovers.
My Get-Up-Shower-and-Start-Your-Day-Right Song: "I'd Rather Dance with You" by Kings of Convenience
My Back-to-Reality Song: "Wise Up" by Aimee Mann. One artist on my bucket list that I haven't seen live yet!
My I'm-So-Stressed-I-Want-To-Take-A-Timeout Song: "To Build A Home" by The Cinematic Orchestra (Live at the Barbican version, with Patrick Watson on vocals). This is just one of the most amazing songs I've ever heard. I heard it live at their concert in Singapore but it was a guitar version by Grey Reverend. The Patrick Watson version is programmed in the mp3 player called "My Brain" because I love it so much.
