4. DISCOVER THE SECRET OF KELLS
The little Irish film that could, The Secret of Kells, went up against big-time movies Coraline, Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Princess and the Frog and Up in the Best Animated Feature Film category of the 2010 Academy Awards. It lost to Up but as NYMag.com wrote even before the awarding ceremony, it is "perhaps the year's biggest Oscar upset." The Secret of Kells runs until March 26 at the Mogwai Cinematheque.
