Meet the writer behind the words of From the Memoirs of a Non-Enemy Combatant: Alex Gilvarry. There will be a book signing event with him on September 15, 4 p.m., at the Powerbooks Greenbelt 4.
The best-selling book tells the story of a Filipino who goes to New York, but is later imprisoned and interrogated about his connection to a terrorist plot.
Alex Gilvarry is the founding editor of Tottenville Review, and has written for several publications.
