VIDEO: Serial killing suspect Mark Dizon busted because of Facebook

Computer technician Mark Dizon, 28, was arrested on July 27 in San Fernando, La Union on suspicion of being responsible for a series of killings and robberies in Angeles City, Pampanga, reports The Associated Press via Google News.

Dizon is suspected of killing nine people in three different robberies in Angeles City: American national Albert Mitchell, his Filipina wife Janet and their three helpers; Canadian Geoffrey Alan Bennun and his Filipina girlfriend; and Briton James Bolton Porter and his girlfriend.

Dizon was tracked down through his photo on his Facebook page that was accessible to one of his Facebook friends, the daughter of murdered victim Albert Mitchell. A family friend of the Mitchells showed the photo to witnesses who identified Dizon as the gunman seen fleeing the Mitchells' house in Angeles City.

According to GMANews.tv, Senior Superintendent Danilo Bautista, acting Angeles City police chief, told radio dwIZ that Dizon called his family to say he wanted to join the communist New People's Army. The police then had an undercover operative posing as an NPA member meet up with Dizon at the city plaza, where Dizon was arrested.

    One of my professor is one of the police behind this crime, I know because Mark Dizon was from my school he took up BS Management, the 3 consecutive crimes occurred in a span of 12 days & after 6 days, they arrested Mark Dizon @La Union.

    anong mabilis nalutas ang kaso at pagkakahuli k mark dizon. matagal nga bago nahuli yan eh. klan b nangyari yung unang couple na napatay sa oasis villa at yung another couple na napatay sa sta. maria both in angeles city.kung sana noon pa nahuli na yan e hindi na sana naulit pa at nakapatay pa ng mas marami sa hensonville, angeles city.

    Ok let's Face it he committed the crime and was branded or tagged as a "Serial Killer" and I feel sorry and condolence to those people he killed and the family who were in Pain right now..
    The thing about this issue is.. Some unresolved cases or mass killng and murder were also accused to him even he ddnt committed them..
    So where is justice on that area.. they are just taking advantage of this issue so that those unresolved cases will be filed as "Cased CLosed" who gets the credit for that.. Gossheee..

    fyi: npa's dont take in people with lumpen/anti-social background. its not that easy. u have to undergo rigorous educational discussion, integration and social and background investigation (possible ties with military, police criminal records)if ever that u have a criminal record-like murder definitely ur out.

    napaka naive/tanga niya naman to think that he will be a part of npa.
