Poetry and Essay-writing workshops by The Writing Section

Poetry: April 17, 24, May 1, 8 and 15 / 1:00 3:00 p.m.
Fee: P4,500
Venue: Unit J, 154 Maginhawa St., Sikatuna Village in Quezon City
Instructors: Jose Wendell Capili (essay-writing) and Carlomar Arcangel Daoana (poetry)

The Writing Section, a private writing workshop for adults and teens, will be holding a series of lectures on poetry and essay writing.

Course on Effective Presentation and Public Speaking at the Filipinas Heritage Library
Schedule: April 17, 2010, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Fee: P2,500 inclusive of handouts, materials, snacks, and certificate.
Venue: Filipinas Heritage Library, Makati Avenue, Ayala Triangle, Makati City
A downpayment of P1,000 is required to reserve a slot. The deadline for reservations is April 12, 2010.

The course aims to help participants manage fears and anxieties related to public speaking and ensure a connection to the target audience. Tips on putting together effective presentation materials will also be given during the workshop.

Crisis Communication Workshop at the Filipinas Heritage Library
