Jim Paredes' comment is way off the mark. Honasan is right, Paredes knows nothing. Agenda or no agenda, if the former Lt. Colonel and his motley crew of disgruntled soldiers didn't attempt the coup against Marcos, EDSA '86 would not have come to fruition. Honasan's failed coup against Marcos was the trigger that emboldened the cowards in all of us to go to EDSA and defy all threats of the dictator and chase him out of power. If not for Honasan's failed putsch that eventually transformed to People Power 1, the conjugal dictatorship of Marcos and Imelda would've been tough to beat, at least for another several years after February 1986. Does Paredes think Cory Aquino, the walkout of election computer programmers because of the rigging of the vote count then that they could no longer stomach, and the Simbahang Katolika would have been enough to unseat this country's last strongman in '86? Keep dreaming, man.

Don't understand how Iza Calzado's and Angel's tweets are part of the list when so many others have said the same thing. Or have said better.

Also, these are mostly just tweets about foreign acts or celebrities visiting the PH. IMHO.
