PAGASA Update: Caloy leaving Philippine Area of Reponsibility

Tropical Depression Caloy continues to head out of the Philippine area of responsibity, reports GMA News. According to PAGASA, though Caloy may bring scattered rainshowers, the weather disturbance won’t be directly affecting any part of the country.

As of PAGASA’s 11 a.m. update, Caloy is at 290 kms West of Subic, Zambales moving at 19 kph with maximun sustained winds of 55 kph. Caloy is expected to be at 670 km west northwest of Subic, Zambales by Tuesday morning.

Earlier today, Caloy was seen at 200 km West of Subic, Zambales moving toward South China Sea at 20 kph with maximun sustained winds of 55 kph, reports GMA News (based on PAGASA’s 5 a.m. update).
