Singer Gary Valenciano defended wife Angeli Pangilinan on her rift with talent manager-actress Annabelle Rama on The Buzz last Sunday, September 12, reports PEP.ph. Rama reportedly lashed out at Pangilinan for giving unsolicited advice and telling her daughter, Ruffa Gutierrez, to stay away from cosmetic procedures.

According to the PEP.ph report, Valenciano said, "Kung anuman ang naririnig pa namin tungkol sa isyung ito, you know, hindi na namin gagawing problema ito." He also told The Buzz host Toni Gonzaga his side of the story regarding reports that he was angry about Rama confronting his wife at Ogie Alcasid's party last August 27.

"Dun sa lumabas na balitang galit daw ako, I think, and I will forever say this, I think yun ang reaction ng kahit sino naman, e. Kapag iyan ang nangyari sa mahal mo sa buhay, you will react with a certain anger na parang galit ka sa nangyari. Pero that was what I felt," Valenciano said.

In an earlier report on PEP.ph, Rama said the issue is not over. "Hindi ko masasabing sarado ang isyu dahil hindi naman siya nagte-text sa akin. Hindi siya nagso-sorry kay Ruffa. Para sa akin, hindi pa closed yun kasi wala naman siyang sinasabing sorry. Kung magso-sorry siya, tatanggapin ko," Rama said in a September 12 TV guesting on on the showbiz talkshow, Paparazzi.

She also said, "Si Gary, talagang idol ko 'yan. Ako ang nahiya kay Gary sa nangyari nung gabing yun," referring to Alcasid's birthday party.

Meanwhile, Valenciano told The Buzz that it's a closed issue. "Tita Annabelle, sana one time we can talk. And you know, God bless you. I love Tito Eddie. I think alam n'yo na 'yan. I guess that's all I can say. Just God bless you, Tita Annabelle. From the Valenciano family, this is a closed issue. And we'll just move on from there."
