Fil-Am actor Michael Copon to open for Bruno Mars in PH

Filipino-American actor Michael Copon will open for Grammy winner and fellow half-Filipino Bruno Mars when the international pop star performs in the country next month, reports PhilStar.com. Mars will hold concerts on April 7 at the Waterfront Hotel in Cebu and on April 8 at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

Best known for his role in the TV series One Tree Hill, Copon was born in Virginia to a Filipino father and a German-American mother, according to PhilStar.com. The actor's TV stints include Power Rangers: Time Force, Power Rangers: Wild Force and Beyond the Break. Last year, he released his first single "Let's Get Nasty" on iTunes.
