Two women beat up taxi driver who tried to rob them

Published: Feb 6, 2012 - 3:28am

Philstar.com reports that call center agents Melanie Natural and Jamie de las Armas—both 23 years old—beat up Rommel Rancho, 32, the taxi driver who attempted to rob them. Rancho was taken to the Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center "for broken legs and bruises all over hid body."

The report noted: "The women boarded a Leysa taxi (TXT-594) driven by Rancho in Cubao and asked that they be taken to B.G. Molina street in Barangay Parang, Marikina City at about 8:30 p.m. on Thursday (February 2). When they arrived at a dimly lit portion of Barangay Parang, they said Rancho pulled out a .38 caliber revolver and took their bags."

According to the report, Natural and De las Armas pleaded with Rancho to leave them with enough money for a jeepney ride home. When Rancho was reaching inside a bag for loose change, Natural, who has a blackbelt in karate,  hit him in the head. This caused him drop his gun. Then, Natural and De Las Armas took turns beating up Rancho until passers-by intervened and called the police.

Apart from call center agents, health workers also have to go on night shifts. In fact, we've been going on nights shifts since forever. Also, even guys can become targets for robbers.

YEAH! These girls showed the way how it should be in PNoy's crime rising era. Do it yourself. Protect yourselves. It's also time for vigilantism people! Wake up! This government is too focused on politics and enemy mudslinging than on protecting its citizens.

They should have killed him. He'll just get out of jail and do it again. The next time he does it, I bet he's going to hurt his victims already.
