Topping the bar is overrated if not put into practical use. Just heard from a topnotch lawyer that there were instances in the past that a streetwise lawyer kept running circles against a bar topnotcher in a court case. The streetwise solicitor easily won the case, bar topnotcher never knew what hit him. Now why is that? Because the solicitor displayed practical smarts in handling his case while the one who topped the bar was by the book and rote in his approach. You can't afford to be too staid on that stand, a little fire in the belly would help your cause.

Ugh, quit with the school supremacy. We should be celebrating the fact that there are still a lot of capable minds and talented individuals in this country.
