ABS-CBNNews.com reports that Jun Aquino, who is known as the "official painter" of Manny Pacquiao, claims that boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. has taken his painting. Aquino revealed that he brought his 3 x 5-foot painting of Mayweather and Miguel Cotto to the press conference at the Grauman Chinese Theater in Hollywood, California. He was hoping to have the two boxers sign his work, which is reportedly worth $50,000 or over P2.2 million, so he could use it in his exhibit.
Aquino said he approached Mayweather when the latter was already in his car. Aquino revealed: "Binuksan ang bintana (He opened the car window), sabi ko (I said), 'Can you sign this?' Sabi niya (He said), 'Come, come.' Kaso biglang umalis ang sasakyan niya, dala [n'ya] ang painting at pen (But then his car just sped off, he took my painting and pen)."
Aquino is asking Mayweather to return the painting or he would be forced to file a case against him.
