Eugene Domingo, Shamaine Centenera-Buencamino win in 6th Asian Film Awards

(UPDATED - Specified proper award name for Eugene Domingo.) Inquirer.net reports that actresses Eugene Domingo and Shamaine Centenera-Buencamino won in their respective categories at the 6th Asian Film Awards, which was held in Hong Kong on Monday night, March 19. Domingo won as People's Choice for Favorite Actress for her work in Marlon Rivera's Ang Babae sa Septic Tank. Buencamino won Best Supporting Actress for her work in Loy Arcenas' Niņo.

The Inquirer.net report, which was written by Bayani San Diego Jr., revealed: "According to the Filipinos who attended the red-carpet event, Domingo stopped the show, after she asked for a kiss from favorite actor winner and Cantopop idol Andy Lau onstage."

    another case of love at first read? hehehe! virtual kasi kaya hindi pa kayo magkakilala ni filipina ako. Mag propose ka kaya dito sa spot para mas romantic at malay mo hanapin pa ng channel 2 or 7 or 5 ang tunay na identity nyong dalawa tapos instant celebrity pa kayo.

    Attention: Sa website ng Asian Film awards (http://www.asianfilmawards.asia/2012/6th-nominees-and-winners/6th-afa-nominees-winners-by-nom/) hindi si Eugene Domingo ang winner for best actress, kundi si Deanie IP from Hong KOng. Pero Shamaine Buencamino ang winner for best supporting actress. Mukhang nagkamali ng posting ang AFA website ah.

    correction, maipagmamalaki ng aming bansa. Hindi ka kasali dun at lahat ng pilipinong nagtaksil sa bayan. Ang karangalan na ito ay para sa mga pilipinong naghihirap at nagpapakasakit iangat ang ekonomiya ng Pilipinas sa pamamagitan ng pagta trabaho dito at pagbili ng mga produktong Pilipino at hindi para sa mga taksil sa bayan. Hindi para sa mga pilipinong pinili ang pagsilbihan ang mga dayuhan na ang tingin sa ating lahi ay hindi tataas sa pagiging alila nila. Ano ang trabaho mo dyan? kung ayaw nilang gawin ibibigay nila sa ating lahi? Kayo naman tuwang tuwa dahil ayaw nyo ng peso at gusto nyo dollar. Unti unti ninyong sinisira ang kinabukasan at karangalan ng aming bansa. Tapos kung maka mabuhay ka, akala mo tapat ka.

    To Eugene and Buencamino, congrats! sa aming tunay na pilipino, sa inyo ay saludo.
