VIDEO: Drunk Canadian man arrested, sings entire "Bohemian Rhapsody" in police car

Published: Mar 30, 2012 - 1:16pm

A drunk man arrested in Canada sings Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody." The dateline of the video (or what we think is the dateline of the video) indicates the arrest happened in November last year.

(UPDATED, March 30, 5:09 p.m.) A YouTube video of an intoxicated man who sings Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" while in a police car has gone viral. The man, who was reportedly nabbed by Royal Canadian Mounted Police, warbles the entire song and even provides his own version of its elaborate instrumental interlude.

The video was uploaded by YouTube user sheissexychick on Wednesday, March 28. As of Friday, March 30, 5 p.m., the video has garnered over 744,000 views. Just a few hours earlier today, the view count was at over 123,000.

The video description notes: "This guy got arrested for intoxication and didn't agree with the charges. After pleading his case, he decides to belt out his emotions...through the music of Queen." Various news, human interest, and music sites, including Billboard.com, have discussed the video.
