North Korea's rocket fails, crashes into ocean minutes after launch

Published: Apr 13, 2012 - 9:17am

Reuters reports that North Korea's rocket launch has failed. The report, which was written by Ju-min Park, quoted a spokesman for the Defense Ministry in Seoul, who "told journalists that the rocket had broken up and crashed into the sea a few minutes after its launch" on Friday, April 13.

The report noted that North Korea had "wanted the Unha-3 rocket to put a weather satellite into orbit" but that  "critics believed it was designed to enhance its capacity to design a ballistic missile deliver a nuclear warhead capable of hitting the continental United States."

We may say goodbye to the worries that we had. May they use their money wisely next time, without having to bother their neighboring countries.

Good thing. I agree with "Genuine" that it should have been more useful if the money was used on food to feed their poor citizens.

The NoKors should have just used the gazillion of cash money spent for their rockets/missiles for food to feed their starving population. What a waste!
