VIDEO: Claudine Barretto, Raymart Santiago, and pals figure in NAIA 3 "rumble" vs. journalist Ramon Tulfo

This video of the alleged "rumble" at NAIA 3 which involved Claudine Barretto, Raymart Santiago, and Ramon Tulfo was taken by an eyewitness. It was uploaded on YouTube by a user named spamsafe.

 

InterAksyon.com reports: "Philippine Daily Inquirer columnist and TV5 host Ramon Tulfo and actor Raymart Santiago exchanged blows at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport's Terminal 3 on Sunday, May 6. A YouTube video later showed Raymart and several male companions ganging up on Tulfo, even as security guards onsite were holding back Tulfo as they tried to pacify the parties."

 

According to the Inquirer.net report on the same incident, "Tulfo said he arrived at NAIA 3 from Davao City on a Cebu Pacific flight when he noticed a woman giving the stewardess a dressing down. He said he initially sympathized with the woman after learning from onlookers that she had been complaining of 'an off-loaded luggage,' which had been a subject of critical columns he wrote before. He did not recognize the woman as Barretto until he walked toward the airline’s complaints desk. Tulfo pulled out his mobile phone and took photos of the scene, which he said would form part of a column he intended to write, when a man from the actress' group approached him."

 

The Inquirer.net report revealed that Tulfo later recognized the man as Barretto’s husband, Raymart Santiago. Tulfo explained that Santiago "demanded to get (his) phone which (he) used in taking shots." Tulfo refused to surrender his phone. At some point, Tulfo said, Santiago's companions came near them. A fight then suddenly broke out. According to the report, "Tulfo said he could not recall who threw the first punch" because, as he alleged, the Santiago and his group had "ganged up" on him.

 

Meanwhile, a report on GMA News Online gave Santiago's side of the story: "Santiago said he approached the man, who turned out to be Tulfo, and asked him why he was taking footage. Santiago alleged that Tulfo punched him. But Tulfo claimed Santiago and some companions ganged up on him, and that he merely fought back."

 

The GMA News Online report noted: "Barretto sustained a bruise in the leg. Tulfo admitted kicking her but said it was unintentional since he was outnumbered at the time. Tulfo also said (that he had been) taking photos and not video footage of Barretto."

    dapat bago mag react ang lahat, mapa tulfo brothers man o claudine-raymart ay dapat panoorin ng buong buo ang video... hindi don sa parting nagrarambolan na.. dahil sa totoo lang sa lahat na wala don sa NAIA di natin alam ang totoong nagyari talaga... at sa NAIA para matigil na nag gulo ilabas nyo ang full video dahil alam natin na nakunan yon lahat ng cctv ninyo...

    Sira nga ulo nito ni Claudine.Bakit sira? Sa Catiklan naiwan yung bagahe nila, sa mga ground stewards doon, yung ground stewards ng NAIA na walang kaalam-alam ang pinag -initan?kung mag iinit siya, doon sa Management ng Airlines at hindi doon sa isang hamak na ground steward lamang na walang kamuwang-muwang.Ganito na ba kabobo ang mga artista natin?

    Walang respeto si Claudine sa mga pangkaraniwang mga trabahador, kung umasta parang kung sino. Don't believe everything you see in TV interviews, Claudine is an actress of course she could use her talent for her own good.

    or Raymart hold him at the shoulder that made him immediately turned around with his fist unto Raymart which he mannaged to avoid.It look like he was walking away but Raymart managed to grab his shoulder vest. Cos, he was facing away Raymart, not towards Raymart until he turned with his fist.

    If you keep reviewing this video. It is definitely obvious that is going after Mr. Tulfo, he seemed to reached his pocket that made Mr. Tulfo turned back at him and he managed to lower himself and avoid Mr. Tulfo's punch. Then the man in pink joined in.

    With regards to the Tulfo's brothers, you guys are also too full of yourselves. You should have put your brains where your asses are. You reacted no less than claudine. Yeah, it looks like it's more of claudines fault, but for sure you all have the responsibility to be civil. You are all examples of the nation yet you all behaved like uneducated.

    I know masama ugali ni Claudine but Tulfo is st*p*d, and his brothers are st*p*d too, nang hahamon pa sa TV! I believe Cebu Pacific staff doesnt want to take sides because Claudine verbally abused them which she had every right to do (customers are always right you know!) but i know they know the truth and that they are just a bunch of chickens! Who cares if Tulfo knows Karate? he probably physically abuse women!
    My message to the Tulfo brothers, why are all of you still proud of your brother who can kick and push a woman! (what happens if someone else kicks or push your mother, wife,etc) i wonder what you will feel!
    This media crap is really making filipinos look very st*p*d and most esp. CORRUPT!
    Wake up governors! dont let the media harrass people, because you are stealing peoples privacy which makes you even worst than Claudine verbally harrasing the Cebu Pacific Staff!

    sinungaling talaga yang si claudine.. ang hilig gumawa ng storya.. like na lang yung kay angelica panganiban ginawan nya ng kung anu anong storya.. ewan ko ba jan sa babaita na yan.. ngayon naman yung kay mon tulfo.. kung totoong natadjakan sya ni mon tulfo hindi na sya makakasuntok pa.. at saka bakit ipapatanggal sa trabaho yung ground staff ng cebpac na nasa manila?? ang bobo mo naman claudine.. same ba na ground staff yung nasa caticlan at yung nasa manila para pagbuntunan mo ng galit.. kung talagang may hika ang mga anak mo dapat hindi mo iniwan sa mga checked baggage mo ang mga gamot nila.. anong klaseng ina ka? eh daig mo pa tatay mo kung makipag karambola sa naia! tseh!!

    Still there is no reason for Raymart to confiscate Tulfo's personal belongings Hindi naman say polis. He could have just make a complain or perhaps apologise to the madlang people about their actions towards the staffs, kasi Kung Hindi nag eskandalo si claudine nobody would bother probably to take her picture an pangit at sungit noh............. next if your a celebrity and you uphold your dignity treat other people the as you treat yourself nohhhhh........goshsssip Tallahassee!

    Nandoon ako nakasaksi na naganap ang pangyayari. Isa din akong pasahero.Habang dakdak etong si Claudine sa pagreklamo. Si Mon ay kuha ng kuha ng video. Nilapitan Ni Raymart at pilit na ipabura ang kinuha. Ayaw naman ng isa kaya pilit kunin ni Raymart ang phone at banta ni Tulfo na pagkinuha ang phone ya tatamaan ya. Kaya ganun ang nangyari. Sumuntok una si Tulfo at may tadyak na parang martial artist. Kaya dun na nagsimula ang rambolan.

    I understand that she got pissed by the delay of her language but to act like a st*p*d cow is another thing. It is very clear that her group became aggressive and defensive toward claudines guilty actions to the staff at the airport and she herself got involved in the fight. It's undeniable that she got involved in the fight instead of breaking her group apart and settle it.

    Claudine and Raymart, you should know by now the possibilities when your travelling, like bags can get lost and delayed. you should know better how to handle this things or situations since you travel every now and then. I can't believe that you lost it, you lost control at lumabas ang mag ugali nyo an mataas at map ang-api. I think claudine should reconsider her actions, she seemed ignorant and in out of order.

    Kakahiya talaga! sana humarap yung ground attendant para malaman ang totoong nangyari. nakapapalengkera talaga ni Claudine at sana from the start palang eh inawat na ni Raymart ang asawa nya. hindi dapat sigawan ang kawawang empleyadong yun. kung ako siguro yung ground attendant na yun baka sinampal ko na si Claudine. wala kasing pinag-aralan.

    Am on Tulfo's side on this one. If Barretto was just complaining to the ground steward about off-loaded luggage, fine. But she crossed the line when she used cuss words on the poor lady, threatened her out of a job, and name-dropped some tycoon into the mix. i don't care if it was your child off-loaded, miss, you don't do that. So Tulfo was right coming to the aid of the poor ground steward, who was just doing her job and not at fault for the mix-up, and he got beat up by some ill-mannered individuals in the process. Some macho guys these are, beating down a senior citizen!
