Annabelle Rama tweets her 2013 political plan: "I'm running for congresswoman of Cebu"

ABS-CBNNews.com reports that talent manager Annabelle Rama revealed via her Twitter page that she will run for Congress next year. Rama reportedly dismissed the rumor brought up by one of her Twitter followers that she was going to run for councilor of Cebu City by tweeting: "Mali ka. I'm running for congresswoman of Cebu." Rama is said to be running to represent Cebu's North District.

 

The report noted that Rama plans to register as a voter in Cebu City on Monday, May 21. The report also pointed out that Rama is the cousin of Cebu City mayor Michael Rama.

    She might be less of a hag if she gets elected to congress. If she imposes her 'katarayan' in congress she'll be alienated considering she's no Lady Miriam. The senator gets away with it because of sheer articulateness on the law. Rama's articulate too, albeit it's mostly sidebar issues.

    I think Cebuanos are smart enough not to vote for Annabelle Rama. But, it would be VERY entertaining to see her interact with all the other personalities in congress.

    I could never fathom why his cousin decided to pick her to go against Cutie Del Mar. Though the latter has received flak over her insistence on so many flyovers, she has done a lot of good things in her district. Plus, she's more well-known to be approachable, beautiful, and smart. No offense, but I don't think Ms. Anabelle Rama will stand a chance in this upcoming election.
