ABS-CBNNews.com reports that Quezon City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 92 Judge Eleuterio Bersan issued the warrant of arrest for talent manager Annabelle Rama because of her failure to attend the court hearings involving the 14 counts of libel filed by actress Nadia Montenegro.
The report revealed: "Bersan recommended a bail of ₱10,000 for each count of libel, or a total of ₱140,000." The report likewise noted:"Montenegro had charged Rama with libel and unjust vexation over the latter's alleged defamatory statements about her through microblogging site Twitter. She said Rama called her 'piggy' on Twitter several times, and alleged that she had an affair with another man and is unable to pay her bills, among others."
According to the report, Rama had said in the past that she "only had one post addressed to Montenegro on her Twitter account, which was about the former actress' debt to her."
