    @Academician,
    Paano payayamanin ang bansa? Puede mo ba kami bigyan ng mga guides and ways?
    Hindi budget ang nadagdag, sa edukasyon, may kasamang number of years dahil sa K 12 system.

    Thanks for pointing it out TOMADACHI KONYO GIRL! What? No.8 na lang ang Alma Mater ko? Whatever, what does this list implies? Kung mapapansin ninyo ang nasa top 50 eh purong mayayamang bansa iyan na mas mayaman kesa Pilipinas. Ang ibig sabihin niyan habang mahirap ang bansa natin, hindi tayo makakapasok sa TOP 25 List. So What to do? Payamanin ang bansa, at dagdagan ang budget for education. At BITAYIN ANG LAHAT NA MANDURUGAS na PULITIKO!

    usisero, not true naman. most of the students who get in are rich kids for sure, but they're still brilliant. they get in coz they got the best private high school education that money can buy.

    the poor but smart kids have transferred to PUP, where tuition is peanuts.

    Yes, I heard that before UP was good but now, what I heard from other people is that whoever wants to get in as long as they have the right resources, they will be able to study there. And no sweat at that! Quality is jeopardized? for what?

    I wonder why MSU-ILIGAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY the School of Intellectuals is not considered in this list. Shame on those who thought of enlisting the former and omiting the later, whatever that may mean.

    I'm an alum of UP, and I'm so ashamed by how low my uni has ranked vs other Asian unis. It used to be the best in the region, and now it can't even get into top 50! And I've heard from my prof friends na these days it's so easy for students to get a 1 by gaming the system. it's curriculum is no longer as challenging as it used to be!

    Wake up UP!

    Ang school ko wala sa list, pero magaling naman iyon. Di bale na, basta magaling ang products nun, parang ako lang. Huwag lang lalabas sa eksena ang isang taong may username na Glad to be Pinoy. Baka magalit uli sa akin iyon. Traumatic kasi pag napagalitan ka dito sa spot, kahit hindi ko tunay na pangalan ang nakalagay, parang ako yung binastos. Buti na lang wala sya lagi, or baka naman nagpalit lang ng username? kasi nahiya na sa ginawa nyang pagalit sa akin, hahaha! Siguro hiyang hiya pa rin iyon kaya nawawala sa spot.

    UP is still the best in these parts, but last year, it was at 62nd as compared to this year's 68th, ADMU was at 65th, now 86th! UST from 104th to 148th! and DLSU from 107th to 142nd! It's called slippage, folks.
