Yoko Ono, wife of the late John Lennon, donates $10,000 to Typhoon Pablo victims

Philstar.com reports that Yoko Ono, the wife of the late John Lennon, "donated $10,000 to victims of Typhoon Pablo in the Philippines." The report explained: "The donation was remitted to the Philippine Embassy in Tokyo on Jan. 28, the Department of Foreign Affairs said."

 

Philsatr.com added that according to the Department of Foreign Affairs Ono "leaned about the catastrophe after she visited the official residence of the Philippine Ambassador to Japan on December 5, 2012." The report also said that Ono has likewise "donated to disaster relief efforts after typhoon Ondoy in 2009, and she assists schoolchildren in the Philippines."
