Dharel Placido of ABS-CBNNews.com reports that on Wednesday, May 8, a man at the MRT Guadalupe station jumped in front of a moving train.  The report revealed: "The man’s body was mangled after being dragged by the train for about 30 meters. He was already dead when the rescue team arrived." The incident, which was captured on CCTV, happened at around 8:18 a.m.

The report quoted Makati police chief Col. Manuel Lucban, who said that "the man appeared to have committed suicide, and that he did not accidentally fall in front of the train."

The report noted that "the MRT management had to suspend the operations of the train system from Guadalupe to Taft Avenue due to the incident" and  "some passengers were forced to get off the train even before it could reach the station." By 11:30 a.m., MRT operations resumed. Police are still trying to identify the man.
