Cost of Janet Lim Napoles’ February 26 medical check-up: P123,000...and we’re paying for it

Fabulous, right?

ABS-CBNnews.com reports that on Wednesday, February 26, "alleged pork barrel scam mastermind Janet Lim Napoles arrived at the Philippine National Police General Hospital in Camp Crame to undergo medical check-up." According to Chief Superintendent Alejandro Advincula, PNP Health Service director, "Napoles is set to undergo transvaginal ultrasound and Partial Thromboplastin Time (PTT) blood test."

Then, the report noted: "Advincula added the government will shoulder the P3,000 medical expenses of Napoles for today. This is on top of the P120,000 the government shelled out for the alleged pork barrel scam mastermind’s transfer from her detention unit at Fort Sto. Domingo in Laguna to the PNP Headquarters in Quezon City."

Grand total (in case you missed it):  P123,000...paid for by the government...which gets its money from taxpayers like you and me.
