In true MTV "Cribs" fashion, "Mommy" Dionisia Pacquiao, mother of international boxing champ Manny Pacquiao. gave the media a tour of her P7 Million dream house in General Santos City.

She opened her doors on February 18 for the grand blessing of her 800-sq.m Mediterranean-inspired, home. The architecture was influenced by Mommy Dionisia's casual perusing through magazines and TV shows. "Ako ang nagpili. Nanood ako ng... nagtingin ako ng catalog. Ito na ang dream house ko. Maliit pa ang mga anak ko pangarap ko na 'to [I chose the style. I watched shows and looked at catalogs. This has been my dream house ever since my kids were still young]," she said in an interview with Showbiz Central.

Mommy Dionisia said she was always hands-on during the construction. From her music room to her heart-shaped Jacuzzi, she said that everything was made according to her requests. Aside from these, she also insisted that a prayer area be built in her room. The "PacMom" has been known to religiously pray every time her son steps into the ring.

Her house interiors, which reportedly cost around P1 Million, were all shipped from Italy. Those include her crafted wooden chairs, dining room set, and her queen-sized bed.

The master's bedroom was a vision of pink, from the flowers, curtains, and even her floral bed sheets. According to Mommy Dionisia, pink was her favorite color ever since she was a little a girl. She also said that the color denoted love and happily quipped, "Mapagmahal si prinsesa, pero wala si prinsipe. [The princess is very loving, but she doesn't have a prince.]"

The house was said to be a gift from Manny and Jinkee, both absent for the house-blessing because they are in Los Angeles (Jinkee is buying merchandise for her boutique while her husband held an L.A. fans day after watching fellow boxer Nonito Donaire's fight in Las Vegas.) The lot was purchased from the money Mommy Dionisia saved from her endorsement deals. She's one of the faces of Ginebra San Miguel and OsteoGard.

You can take the barbarian out of the province, but you can't take the province out of the barbarian!rnrnYou got that right, Victorina: Money can buy you anything BUT class.

move over old rich people, your generation is fading faster, here comes the rags to richest taking over. Now God is finally confiscating the money that was not hard earned but merely hands me down from abusive frailes of old eras. For sure people like Mommy Dionisia and other brown rag to richest will stay for generations to come because theirs is hard earned and not from corruption or from taking advantage of small people

Aling Dionisia put the word "mahirap,no class,no taste" into a higher level. Being true to herself is what I admire most...she don't care if she got the thick visayan accent, could not speak well tagalog...who cares! she deserve to be happy too. Afterall, she did her share of hardship in life.
To those "conio",social climbers and social crawlers, just mind your own bussiness and just be happy for Aling Dionisia, she's old and tired...at least we could spare the last chapter of her life to be fulfilled and joyful.

Dona Buding "You can buy anything but class…"

Pa-sosi naman ang comment mo but not original. Are you jealous or pa-snob effect lang yan? I was just wondering why someone "classy" like you bothered to read this article and watched the short clip? Your "classy" fingers should have been flipping throught the pages of Tattler, Town & Country or Vanity Fair to name a few. I agree with you, Money Can't buy class but it can buy all the comforts in this world. So, who cares about "class" when your credit card bills is up to your "classy" nose.

I say to all the rugs to riches out there to show this "classy" people that you know how to spend your hard earned millions without guilt and with out breaking the bank. Go Dionisia! Ignore these HATERS!

Aray ko. Di ito kasalanan ng mga maiitim. Kasalanan ito ng ad agency. Example of a soap ad: PARA IKAW AY MAGING KUTIS MAYAMAN!

Like hello, sino may sabi pag maputi ay mayaman? Wala na ngang pera sa kauutang eh.

Bless Mommy Dionisia, she must be so happy! P7M is a modest amount to spend on a dream home considering the millions of dollars Manny has. The Paquiaos are generous with their money too. Sayang lang di masyadong nababanggit sa media. Anyway, it's always good to see another happy soul!

I agree with igeramos. The new rich is brown or dark brown na. If you go to GBelt and visit LV, Gucci, Hermes, or Prada shops, you will see majority either chinito/chinita or maiitim.

Kaya nga ang daming nagalit kay Liza Ilarde, after seeing a maitim na woman holding LV bag, she said "Kanya kaya? Totoo kaya?".

Ang mga mestizo/mestiza na formerly rich kunyari na lang rich pa rin unless politicians na alam naman nating kurakot lang. Think OFW's. These are the brown people you see in these shops. These are the promdi nurses or hotel managers who are vacationing from the US, Europe, or the Middle East.

igeramos, sama ako sa party ni Aling Dionisia! I will wear my Lhuillier dress, Proenza Schouller bag, and Jimmy Choo shoes. Kung overnight tayo, I will bring my Natori so I could sleep well on a Pratesi. Ahhhh....

Didn't you read my post? kampi ako kay mommy dionisia ha, at hindi ako matapobre. for your information we poor people, I mean "we poor people" know how to laugh at ourselves unlike those burgis who are so stiff and rigid who always mind what other people will say about them. I go for mommy d. fearless, walang takot. hindi niya kailangan ng kilalang architect or interior designer para ma-validate ang pagkatao niya para tanggapin siya ng lipunan. saludo ako sa kanya, because in spite of it all, sabihin nilang baduy siya, what prevails is her own taste at hindi yung mga binebenta ng mga stylist at kung sino sinong interior designer kuno na nangongopiya din sa magazine. So don't tell me to grow up. Because I know what being poor is like, galing din ako doon. Kaya pwede kong pagtawanan ang mga nagmamaganda. Ask mommy dionisia if she cares. No! Kaya tuloy ang Cougar party namin sa sunday.

    @ dona buding, igeramos

what's with you people? why do you keep bringing up class? what made you think that you have "class" and stands better than them? So what if they came from being poor? Coming from the bottom doesn't make them any less of a person than you.

People like you are the ones that exagerates the division between rich and poor. Grow up peeps...

Kung type mo, i-blo-blog pa ito ni BB, as in BB Gandang Hari and not Bryan Boy. Chura niya. Halika na Buding. Di na uso ang Social climbing. Social Spelunking na ang uso ngayon, as in Old rich is new poor and old poor is new rich.
