Stumped by Jejenese? Try the Online Jejenator!

Published: Apr 30, 2010 - 7:45pm

Still baffled by Jejenese? No need to fret. Cybergeek Jared Guissmo Asuncion or "Guissmo" for short, has created a website that lets you translate ordinary text into its Jejemon format. With its simple type and click interface, the site lets you tweet Jejenese quotes without breaking into a sweat.

A simple greeting like "Hello!", for example, becomes "eow p0wH LoLZ!" in a jiff. Click here to try it.

Guissmo also designed the Corn-inator, a site that gives you an unlimited supply of the corniest Pinoy jokes with just a click of a button.

    eh? do you have any knowledge about programming? this is just a simple program using string substitutions. kahit average programmer kayang gawin to, promise hehe. the converse of this, jeje to normal however, is much more difficult. yun ang genius :)

    @ igeramos, what a jet setter. Where else should you be right now but at the Expo? Will you be in Manila by the last week of May? Batoush and I will be happy to hook up with you and treat you for lunch or dinner.

    Just got back. Surprised with Lourds comments 120+ if only we have to pay P100 per comment, Lourd would have earned P12,300 as we speak. Not bad for a 1000 word article!

    As for that idiot next door, I don't have the time or the energy to waste my brain cells arguing, specially if he doesn't know the meaning or irony, wit and charm.

    @borsalino
    yes, I used to own tomato graphics. i gave it to my ex brother in law more than 15 years ago.

    yea, it's genius. but how about trying to have a translator the other way around? (jejemon - normal) that way we'd be able to understand them better :)

    @sira

    Tita Aida's right. There's some genius behind that program. You think creating that is easy? Sige nga ikaw nga gumawa ka ng ganyan.

    @ sira, do you know that the Filipino hacker 5 or 7 years ago received a lot of job offers from the Silicon Valley?

    Do you know that outside of Silicon Valley, a software company hired autistic teenagers age 18 to 21 to develop software for special kids?

    You have to live, work, or "play" in Silicon Valley to understand what "thinking outside the box" meant. Challenge the status quo.

    Jejemon Babelfish.

    Brilliant chap! Tita Aida is right you should work for Google. Or for me! I need a full time Jejemonese translator so I can round them up (the jejemons) and drown them is vats of boiling sulfur.

    This invention of yours will be handy, since I asked the legislators of this country to criminalize jejemon behavior and the punishment will be digital amputation.

    @Tita Aida, this is what happens when Mercury is in retrograde. All forms of communication gets fncI

    OMG, the Microsofts and the Googles of America will line up to offer you a job, if you are not already in Silicon Valley. A US Visa for somebody with extraordinary talent will be very easy to acquire. Brilliant Filipino.
