To be fair, the controversial TV host did say she'd work abroad only if she would wreak havoc on her brother Noynoy Aquino's presidency, which is almost in the bag since he currently has a comfortable lead over closest rival former Pres. Joseph Estrada. His other rivals have already conceded.
Some netizens are fervently hoping that Kris "walks her talk." A Facebook group called "Kris Aquino's Despedida," created this week, has garnered 3,391 members as of May 12. One member posted on the wall, "Krissie, a promise is a promise! But we also promise to give you the biggest despedida since Macoy (Ferdinand Marcos) fled in 1986. Yahoo!" A few members speculated that Kris might do a Miriam Defensor-Santiago. (Remember when Santiago announced, "I will jump headfirst from a helicopter in Luneta if Estrada gets removed from power," and then simply said "I lied" with her trademark laugh when EDSA II ejected Estrada from Malacañang?)
SPOT.ph wants to know: Should Kris Aquino leave the country?

I would like to think we all know that many actors and actresses are being considered to occupy key positions in the government. NOY has admitted already that KRIS recommended some of these showbiz personnel including BOY ABUNDA. I hope BOY was recommended not because he is a friend. Otherwise, this is a clear abuse of power by KRIS. Ergo, this will make NOY look bad.
What do you think?
