(SPOT.ph) Swiss watch brand TechnoMarine and boxing champion Manny Pacquiao have come together to release a limited-edition watch called the “Manny Pacquiao 8” or the MP8, which was launched on March 1. The 8, printed noticeably on the watch’s face, stands for the number of Pacquiao’s world championship titles, while the yellow, blue, and red touches pay homage to the Philippine flag. Only 1,000 pieces of the watch will be produced.
Hosted by Georgina Wilson and Borgy Manotoc, the launch party was attended by bigwigs from the showbiz and media industries. Spotted were Cesar Montano, Gloria Diaz and her daughter Isabelle Daza, Rhian Ramos, and Azkals player Anton del Rosario. Singer Pops Fernandez and actress Maricar de Mesa were also present.
Joining the party from the world of media were Summit Media president Lisa Gokongwei Cheng, Inquirer editor Thelma San Juan, Esquire editor-in-chief Erwin Romulo, columnist Dolly Ann Carvajal, and news anchor Alex Santos. Governor Chavit Singson, Rep. Tobias Tiangco, and Sen. Koko Pimentel also made an appearance.
