(SPOT.ph) Philippine clothing brand Penshoppe was right on target with their show at Philippine Fashion Week on May 26, dubbed IMPACT. The buzz-worthy event started when designer Robin Tomas presented his collection, which showed a fusion of the designer's New York exposure and Filipino upbringing.
The show also featured Penshoppe Holiday 2012 collection, with two giant screens teasing the audience with the men of Penshoppe: from Ed Westwick to Mario Maurer to Zac Efron to Ian Somerhalder. The dazzling spectacle gave every fashionista in attendance a glimpse of what will soon hit Penshoppe stores--from denim staples to on-trend sorbet hues.
After the final walk, Brand Director Alex Mendoza thanked everyone, but not without giving them what they'd been anticipating for months. Presented as the newest muse of Penshoppe, Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester walked on the runway, escorted by her co-endorser, Mario Maurer. The crowds energy once again picked up as the latest addition to the Penshoppe All Stars campaign sweetly greeted the audience. While most shows would be called a hit, this one was all about, well, impact.
