Those who came of age in the 90s will feel a tad sentimental when they see this clip:

But that was then. This is now:

The cast of 90s hit teen show Gimik had a reunion of sorts last Sunday night, July 19 at Marvin Agustin's Greenbelt 3 restaurant Marciano's: Row 2 (L-R): Diego Castro,Marvin Agustin, Bojo Molina, Dominic Ochoa, Patrick Garcia, Diether Ocampo. It's been 10 years since the show ended. Giselle Tongi-Walters, who now lives in LA, happened to be in town, and Bojo Molina, who is now based in Guam, flew in just for the reunion. "We surely missed Rico Yan that day," said former executive producer Judith Bauer.

posible pala sorry...favorite ko yung loveteam ni melanie (mylene dizon at ni bryan (bojo molina) grabe nakakilig talaga promise...pero ok talaga lahat ng cast at yun mga characters nila i was only in elementary that time pero sobrang like na like ko talaga yun prog. doon ko na appreciate yun mga teen oriented shows talaga...hope to see the reunite na complete talaga sila...

OMG! I love this show so much! At ang gandang-ganda at guwapong-guwapo pa rin silang lahat even now! I'm so happy that they all have remained such good friends over the years, sana magkaroon silang movie together...I miss Kuya Rico too. I wish they have Gimik DVDs, I'm sure they would be a hit!

I was more of a tgis fan.. i'd watch gimik during commercial breaks only.. but i still loved this show nonetheless!!! especially the original cast!! this entry really got me reminiscing!! brings back my childhood!!

yup im an avid fan of GIMIK ..lahat ng luv team nila cmula Rico-Judy, Diet -G, Bojo -Mylene at Marvin -Jolina..sana magrelease cla ng mg DVD episodes...mirekord ko ang ilang mga episodes nila nun sa VHS dahil un pa ang uso...pero sad at d ko cla na convert sa CD or DVD ...kaya d ko na mapanood ulit..huhuhu.

i saw some of the clips of gimik in youtube...and i enjoy watching it...i was 10 years old when gimik was shown on tv...i remember rico and judai moments and its so kilig...hope to see them together in bigscreen(gimik the reunion 2)sad lang ksi rico is gone...

Oh my Gosh!!! I love GIMIK! Its the first movie I watched without my Mama and Papa! I hope they will make a reunion movie! Its the only teen oriented show that had artists who knows how to act and not over acting and pa cute! I like Gina---G Tongei's character! It really made me smile when I look at the pictures--everybody could relate with this kind of friendship! Too bad that the Rico Yan is not around anymore but Im sure he was just their watching them! :)

That's weird. Gimik is supposed to be a '90s teen-oriented show, and yet its "soundtrack" is peppered with tracks from the Pretty in Pink soundtrack: If You Leave, Left of Center, Shell Shock. Proof positive that the '80s--the age I proudly declare to have come of age in--is the last decade of the 20th century with an original musical or pop cultural identity of its own.

I saw the group at Marciano's Greenbelt 3 last Sunday.:) It was a simple gathering yet full of fun.:) Kakatuwa! I was a fan of the show.:)

Reunions truly bring(s) back the memories and the camaraderie. :)

whew! has it been really 10 years? i feel old. haha. gosh, i used to watch them religiously. 'was smitten by the late Rico Yan's good looks and charm. too bad he wasn't able to attend this reunion.
