Hayden Kho Jr.'s denial of his alleged attempted suicide is a lie, says Sen. Bong Revilla, according to PEP.ph.
Revilla has asked Senior Superintendent Alfred Corpuz to investigate an alleged cover-up of the reported incident that happened in Lalaan 2nd in Silang, Cavite, on December 3, in which a man that two witnesses identified as Dr. Hayden Kho Jr. was allegedly found in a pineapple field bearing wounds on his face and left shoulder.
Kho's lawyer, Atty. Lorna Kapunan, has denied allegations of a suicide attempt. Police officers at the precinct in Lalaan 2nd have likewise stated that no such incident happened, as it had not been recorded in the police blotter.
"Idinenay ba ni Hayden? Sa madaling-salita, he's lying! Kausap ko yung provincial director ngayon lang at sinasabi niya na may nangyari na ganoong insidente. So,merong ganoong insidente at huwag niyang palabasin na sinungaling ang mga kababayan ko sa Cavite," Revilla said.
"At kung wala naman dapat itago, bakit kailangan itago? Yun lang ang puntos natin diyan. Ako, nothing personal. Ako naman, naka-focus sa kaso ni Katrina Halili at yung mga nabiktima ni Hayden. This is a differnt case. Kumbaga, nothing personal sa pangyayari na 'to pero huwag naman nating gawing sinungaling yung mga tao na nandoon."
Revilla further stated that the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) was right to revoke Dr. Kho's license to practice medicine.
